We are currently searching for a Chief Executive Officer who can build on past successes and steer the company towards new horizons. It’s not just a role; it’s an opportunity to make a splash and lead this entity into a new era of growth and accomplishment. If you’re ready for a challenge and poised to make a significant impact, this could be your next venture.

 Role Description
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports to the Board of Directors and manages a full leadership team, with full responsibility for operations, sales, strategy, finance, supply chain, human resources, legal and all other functions related to running the business. Our chosen candidate will be a natural leader who will be able to rally the team around the new strategy and drive the business to a new level. He or she will be able to foster commitment and ownership of the new strategy with the team, from the senior staff member to the most junior.

Our chosen candidate will be a world-class manager with a commanding knowledge of mobilizing a large group to achieve organizational objectives. Setting long-term, medium-term, and short-term goals will be second nature to the incumbent. The CEO will have a commanding knowledge of inspiring a team to internalize and take ownership of a strategy complemented by best-in-class execution. The CEO will have an innate ability to play off the team’s strengths and limit their weaknesses. The true mark of a great CEO is their ability to produce more CEOs, and as such our candidate will demonstrate their ability to “seek and seed” leaders at all levels in the organization.

The CEO will be a master communicator with the ability to create influence and impact with a diverse and geographically separated team. They will be excellent listeners and will understand the message they are sending is never as important as the message that is being received. Our preferred candidate will be emotionally intelligent with the ability to stay focused under extreme pressure while working in volatile countries or cities.

The CEO will be responsible for building, developing, nurturing, and performance managing a large team of highly experienced professionals. The chosen candidate will have deep experience in driving a team to peak performance and will have a white-knuckle grip on the success metrics required for the business.

Our CEO will be the primary revenue generator in the company with a superhuman ability to drive sales and net profit growth that outperforms the market. A proven talent who can deliver a dramatic delta above the average results in the industry. Our chosen candidate will be an innovative “Rainmaker”.

The CEO will be able to analyze the market and identify where the company can find net-net new money, while at the same time optimizing their current service portfolio to maximize revenue and profits. Whether it is organically moving the needle by working at the grassroots level to improve sales or soaring over the business looking at strategic investments to catapult the top line to stratospheric levels, our CEO candidate will be a revenue generator at heart.

The CEO will be strategic by nature and will enjoy the natural ebb and flow of commercial markets, with a proven history of delivering a sustainable competitive advantage in a purely competitive environment. Resting their strategic process on having proprietary data the competitors failed to acquire, the CEO will be able to analyze and process the full stream of data about the business and its market. With a focus on creating an ownership culture, the CEO will develop the strategy in such a way that the team has full buy-in to the strategy being created.

The CEO will have deep experience within the FM and FM business with hands-on experience dealing with the industry operations and its nuances. They should bring a deep understanding of Integrated Facility Management (IFM) practices while having experience in overseeing the operations of both Hard and Soft FM services. They will be able to “hit the ground running” and will be familiar with most of the challenges an IFM company would face. They will be able to redesign processes in an effort to drive operational efficiencies, spearheading a continuous improvement mindset within the organization. Additionally, the CEO will have experience in leveraging data for decision-making, and the ability to use analytics to drive improvements in operations.

Our preferred candidate will be at the forefront of driving technological innovation. Tasked with leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the CEO will lead the strategic adoption of transformative solutions such as IoT, AI, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and stay ahead of industry trends. Implementing advanced technologies for facility optimization, the CEO will guide the organization in adopting smart building systems, robotics, and other innovations to streamline operations. Emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies, the CEO will position the company as a technological leader in the Facility Management sector, driving innovation and ensuring a competitive edge in the market.

Financially sound the CEO will be the champion of the company’s finances and will ensure the business stays liquid and solvent. With an experienced hand at managing a P&L, the CEO will understand how to manage working capital in the most efficient way possible. A strong financial skill set is required to lead this large and expansive business. The CEO candidate will be able to unlock value in the balance sheet and will understand what the right mix of equity and debt is for the business to reach peak growth levels.

The CEO will be empirically driven and will have a group of key metrics they will use to drive the organization to outperform the market. The CEO will drive the CFO to create a custom-made management dashboard which highlights pre-success financial metrics. From monitoring, measuring, and improving contract profitability to employee utilization rate to new business acquisition rate, the CEO will be well versed in which financial metrics and success metrics to keep an eye on.

Our ideal candidate will excel in managing a senior board within a publicly listed company. Tasked with providing strategic leadership to the board, the CEO will navigate the complexities of a publicly traded environment, ensuring effective communication, transparency, and collaboration. The CEO will be adept at aligning the interests of various stakeholders, fostering a culture of open dialogue and accountability. With a keen understanding of corporate governance principles, the CEO will guide the board in making informed decisions that uphold the organization’s integrity and enhance shareholder value. Leading by example, the CEO will emphasize ethical practices, compliance, and financial stewardship, thereby maintaining the trust and confidence of both the board and the broader investor community.

As our client has a long history, our CEO will share the same ethos, values, and culture as the business, its leaders, and its board. The company finds strength in its culture and its values, which have been fostered over decades. At the core is respect and trust, underpinned by courage.
